Our practices
We believe that abundance comes from working in tandem with nature and for this reason we prioritize soil health. All decisions we make are made with the intention of building soil; we do this through several practices including cover cropping, deep compost mulch systems, succession planting, intensive planting and low to no till. Everything we grow is started from seed and we currently grow about about sixty varieties of various crops.
At present we have no organic certification, but we follow organic principles. We farm without chemicals or synthetic fertilizers. Farming organically in Arkansas where summer heat stifles and insect pressure soars comes with its challenges, but we are able to mitigate many of these challenges through the use of insect netting, organic mulches, shade cloth and overhead irrigation. We are fortunate to farm in a climate with a long growing season and we intend to provide our community with the highest quality produce through all four seasons.
We love what we do; thank you for your support! We are always happy to speak more in depth about our growing practices, so if you have any questions, please reach out.
